Despite unparalleled access to knowledge banks, the collective wisdom we hold in our communities is at risk, so that our ability to meet life’s challenges is reduced. Drawing together through creative activity relating to shared cultures offers some productive fellowship. Whether through exhibition, talks, walks or workshops, the prism of contemporary design can engage both public and practitioners in a virtuous circle, offering agency to individuals and communities with the potential to improve well-being.
